Ah, so that's where the Rideau came from...Birks had contracts with a few Swiss companies for their in-house brand watches. Eterna and Rolex are two; any thoughts who makes the Rideau for them? That is a cool chrono!

It's a bit of a mystery.. including the fact that the crown is Breitling! Could be replacement, could be a relationship, heck if I know... I just wanted a 7730 for a while.  Quality info on the web seems hard to come by for vintage Birks.

Wait 'til you see the other thing I picked up in trade for the two-tone day-date Tudor...

Want to put in a good word for Logan again (lrf899). He recently sold me a very nice SM GMT "Great White". He even gave me a grace period to raise funds. Very knowledgeable, great guy to chat and share a beer with. And he has put together a wicked collection!!

I had a smooth transaction with avidmark. We met and I liked the watch! I had to head to bank to get the cash and kept him wating but he was so passionate to talk about watch and show me everything even after he had to wait for about 15mins for me.

I've done multiple deals with Rauljose in the last few weeks. Stand up guy, great conversation, knows what he's talking about. Deal in confidence.

Kudos for a couple of WWE members:

Lex Rolex sold me a nice GS earlier this week-Tony is a great guy to deal with. Loves his Rolexes!!

DJ2535 sold me his Sicura diver. Great little tool watch. DJ is always wonderful to meet up with and chat.

Deal with both in fullest confidence
