Time to purge some of the watches that I don't get a chance to wear. First up is a circa 1955 Zenith dress watch, matte black dial w/ silver sub-seconds. 34mm. case has a few dings on the lugs and body, overall when it's on the wrist they aren't noticeable. This watch is running and keeping time well, however service history is unknown and the movement is likely due for a check up. The crown is not original to the watch, but it is a period correct Zenith service crown as far as I can tell. Movement is a Zenith in house model, however I have not had the case open and am unsure of the caliber. Given the rarity of this dial variant, and the excellent overall condition of the dial I'm asking $950 or best offer for this piece, I am aware that they can go for much more w/ all original parts (Service crown). I will update with more photos of the caseback, side profile and detail any imperfections.
